Diana Jordan Bio ~ A little bit about me

Once upon a time… there was a little girl in Oklahoma who loved the TV show, I Love Lucy. Twenty years later she drove out of Oklahoma towards California and was fortunate enough to get an audition to study comedy/humor with the legendary comedienne- Lucille O’Ball!
She was hooked!
“Time plus pain equals humor.”
– Lucille Ball

Well, buckle up and get ready for some fun as you dive into the amazing world of Diana Jordan! With almost two decades of professional speaking under her belt and a whopping twenty-five years as an award-winning stand-up comedian, Diana has left no funny bone untouched. She’s had the pleasure of entertaining over a million people, both live and on television.
But here’s where things get even more interesting. When life threw a curveball at Diana in the form of a breast cancer diagnosis, she didn’t let it keep her down. Oh no! She discovered that laughter had the power to help people deal with life’s stresses, motivate them, and even teach them some valuable life lessons.
Laughter is like a magical elixir for the soul and Diana has the recipe. She demonstrates its amazing ability to nourish you from the inside out and completely change your outlook on life. It’s like a gift from the comedy gods, especially for those who are struggling with anxiety and burnout. Laughter becomes your superhero cape, whisking away the worries and filling your heart with joy.
Comedy also helped Diana deal & heal the wounds of an unsettling childhood of being bullied for having (undiagnosed) A.D.D. and dyslexia. Her humor and involvement in sports such as gymnastics, ballet, and track helped give her the confidence to persevere. Oh, and so did her mom! Diana is a survivor in every sense of the word!
Featured on Oprah for her talents as a comedian and writer, her hilarious, best-selling book, A Wife’s Little Instruction Book, “Your Survival Guide to Marriage Without Bloodshed! has sold over 500,000 copies in five languages. This appearance on Oprah garnered her the title, “One of the funniest people on the planet!” by Oprah herself
On the movie screen, Diana co-starred in “Loretta’s Surprise,” featured at the Sundance Film Festival, ‘Blood Pageant’ a comedy/horror movie starring Billy Baldwin and Snoop Dogg, and was handpicked by director Cameron Crowe to be in the Oscar nominated movie “Jerry Maguire” with Tom Cruise.
Diana was nominated by The American Comedy Awards as, “One of the top five female comedians in the country!” She has appeared in many comedy specials, including, Showtime’s Women of the Night, Evening at the Improv, Comedy Central, Entertainment Tonight, CBS News, The Match game, Netflix and many more.
It’s no surprise that Diana is an expert at improvisation as she studied comedy in Los Angeles at “Off the Wall!” improv classes with fellow classmate Robin Williams. She and Robin also dated.
She has been under contract to CBS Network and Twentieth Century Fox for her self-written sitcom and is a member of SAG, AFTRA, The National Speakers Association, and The Writers Guild of America.
