Breast Cancer Survivor Speaker!
“50 Shades of Pink! –
A Journey of Hope and Humor!”
Why did the stand-up comedian become a breast cancer survivor speaker? Because she found laughter to be the best medicine, even in the face of adversity!
Diana Jordan’s journey as a breast cancer speaker and survivor speaker showcases the power of humor in overcoming life’s challenges.
Despite her reputation as a funny individual, she was not immune to the disease nor was her father and brother who both lost their lives to the disease. However, armed with her sense of humor, a strong medical team, and countless hours on Google (we all do it, right?) Diana embarked on her journey of hope and humor.
As an in-demand and top-rated breast cancer speaker and fourteen-year breast cancer survivor speaker, Diana emphasizes the importance of early detection and prevention to prevent a breast cancer occurrence. She shares the significance of stress reduction, maintaining a healthy diet, staying socially active, and finding the funny in everyday situations.
An award winning 25-year stand-up comedian veteran and actress, Diana can be seen on TV and YouTube in her many recorded appearances, and she has graced the big screen in movies like the Oscar nominated, “Jerry Maguire” and the comedy/horror film “Blood Pageant” alongside Billy Baldwin and Snoop Dogg.
After an appearance on The Oprah Show, Oprah called Diana, “One of the funniest people on the planet!” With her unique blend of humor and resilience, Diana continues to make a positive impact on the lives of others, reminding us to all to ‘stop and smell the laughter!” WARNING: This is a fun, inspirational, and laughter filled presentation!
Working as breast cancer survivor speaker for the last 15 years has been a blessing. I share personal anecdotes, stories, and experiences that highlight the power of laughter and its impact on our physical, emotional, and mental well-being. By demonstrating how laughter helped me during my breast cancer journey maintain a positive mindset, cope with adversity, and find joy amidst the struggle, I can inspire others to embrace laughter as a tool for healing and growth.
Diana is active in STAND-UP TO CANCER AND THE FARRAH FAWCETT FOUNDATION.

How a Happy “laff-attitude” helped me survive cancer –
“Life is short! You can laugh or cry- I can help you laugh again!”
Tune into ‘your funny.’ Example: A couple of weeks after my mastectomy a friend’s brother said to me, ‘I’m so sorry you had breast cancer, my aunt also had a vasectomy!” Did he really say that! Oh yes, he did!
Even though such a serious subject audiences laugh through her “Oops” moments with Tom Cruise (including video) when she appeared in the hit movie “Jerry Maguire”. They will share an “Oopsrah” moment when she performed her comedy routine on the Oprah show and what it was like to date and what she learned about laughter from classmate/date mate, Robin Williams.
My story will inspire others to embrace laughter as a source of strength and resilience, ultimately helping them navigate their own challenges and find joy during difficult times.

The Bangor Region YMCA hired Diana Jordan in September 2021 as a virtual presenter for our Annual Caring Connections Retreat for women survivors of breast cancer.
She is funny, engaging, and allows her compassion to shine in the stories she tells and the comedy she shares. She is a positive person who believes in the power of laughter and this came through loud and clear! Even virtually!
We would highly recommend her!
